Teacher Training

Teachers play a vital role in including and educating children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs). We offer professional development programs so teachers can increase their understanding of SLDs and learn strategies to help their students. In our Technically Assisted Program (TAP), we help schools and educational organizations to set up their own Resource Centres to support their students with SLDs. Our Resource Library offers a list of service professionals and institutions, links to information about Learning Disabilities, and educational videos.

Technically Assisted Program (TAP)

Schools or educational organizations establishing their own Resource Centres undertake a three to five year partnership wherein AMF trains a core team of teachers or psychologists to conduct assessments and interventions. The intensity of AMF's support and mentoring is scaled down as the school teams gain expertise.

For information about schools and educational institutions in our TAP program, click here.

Schools interested in establishing a Resource Centre with AMF's support are invited to contact us by clicking below.
