Assessment Program

Objective Testing & Reporting Process

About The Assessment Program
Psychologists use a variety of validated tests to assess each child’s academic skills in the areas of reading, written language, spelling, verbal expression, and math. These are used to identify the child’s specific learning difficulties. Based on the assessment, psychologists make recommendations to parents and teachers and, if requested, refer the child for resource support to remediate weaknesses.

Objective
To use professional testing and analysis to identify children’s specific learning difficulties in order to recommend appropriate remediation services.

Testing And Reporting Process
An assessment process must be completed prior to enrolment in the BOLD Program or the Resource Centre. Please note that our assessment services are very affordable. No child will be turned away due to inability to pay.
